Festival de Navidad

It’s almost time for the most wonderful time of the year, and excitement is already building for Festival de Navidad 2025! The season’s magic is just around the corner, promising dazzling lights, joyful celebrations, and the warmth and togetherness that make this festival a cherished tradition in Zamboanga City.

This year’s celebration will kick off with a grand Parade, filling the streets with vibrant colors, festive music, and smiling faces from our community. The parade will lead to the Ceremonial Switching On of the Christmas lights at the Zamboanga City Hall, which will be transformed into a spectacular display, heavily decorated to welcome the season in all its splendor.

Throughout the festival, residents and visitors can look forward to a lineup of exciting events, including the Christmas Village Competition, where beautifully themed displays light up the city with creativity and holiday cheer. The Christmas Choral Competition will run from December 12 to 14, culminating in a Grand Finals on December 15, with all performances held at the City Hall, providing a stage for talented voices from across the city to showcase their holiday spirit.

Adding to the festive cheer, the Inter-Office Christmas Decor Competition invites city offices to transform their workspaces into magical holiday wonderlands, spreading joy to everyone who passes by. On top of these, festival-goers can also enjoy a variety of exciting events organized by private groups, adding even more fun and surprises to the season.
