Ambassadors from Around the World Visit Zamboanga City for FAM TOUR
Diplomats from 22 countries visited Zamboanga City to immerse themselves in its rich culture and deep history, as well as to join in the Zamboanga Hermosa Festival festivities.
On the first day, the itinerary included visits to key locations such as the City Museum, the Canelar Barter Trade, and the Yakan Weaving Village. The diplomats also received a warm welcome at City Hall from Mayor John M. Dalipe, who was thrilled to meet them. The day concluded with a Diplomatic Reception Dinner at the Fort Pilar National Museum.
The second day began with a trip to Sta. Cruz Island, where the delegates toured Zamboanga City’s flagship destination and enjoyed the island’s crystal-clear waters. Later, a Business Forum was held at the Garden Orchid Hotel, where prominent speakers from the business sector discussed the different industries in Zamboanga City and their future plans. The evening wrapped up with a Diplomatic Cocktail Dinner at Paseo del Mar, where the delegates enjoyed a night of music, dancing, and delicious food.
On the final day, the delegates experienced the vibrant Regatta and enjoyed a taste of Zamboanga’s famous sardine dishes at WOW Sardinas.
